Hi, our petition already forward to the conlulate, however, my fiandee dosen't receive the package3 yet.

I just want to prepare the I-134 in advance. How long is the I-134 valid? Also, the question 10("Date Submitted")on the I-134,which date should I put in? Received Date or Notice Date on the NOA1?

Thank you.

I also have the same question about how long the I-134 valid. Because I sent it in with the tax returns, letter from work, and the bank when I submitted the I-129F to the USCIS. It haven't been a year yet, should I get a new one done close to the interview stage?

The I-134 is supposed to be valid for a year, but I've heard of people being asked for updated financial info at the interview stage.

EVOLUTION, did you send the I-134 and supporting docs with the petition? I don't think that was required at that point, was it? You will probably have to prepare a new I-134 and supporting evidence documents for the interview appointment.

alameda,

You will want the information on the I-134 to be current at the time of the interview, in agreement with the other financial documentation that you will provide.

Receipt Date would be the most appropriate - that's the date that the CIS considers the petition to have been submitted.

I concur with Yodrak! The receipt date on your NOA1 is what I used on my I-134 and appears to be the most appropriate because that is when USCIS officially recorded the receipt of the petition.

Cheers!!!
