Hello All,

I was simply wondering if there has been any approvals from CSC lately with the K1 AOS that were transfered. I am starting to have serious doubts about how long this is going to take since our AOS was transfered on the 27 July which may be one of the last to be transfered to the CSC. I have been reading on this web site about people that were transfered in the first part of this year, and they are still waiting. This is starting to be a concern about just how fast CSC is processing these cases. Then I read about people that filed in August, and some have already received their approvals for AOS. Some had interviews and were approved in a matter of a few months. All of it seems very confusing about the processing times.

It has been four months since our case was transfered. About how many months till we start making requests or contacting goverment officals to ask about the case? Is it five or six months since there seems to be no processing times for the AOS from a K1 visa listed on the USCIS website.

Hi! I'm April filers and i just got my green card last November 23rd that's 6 months waiting, so u wait until 6 months but you may follow up by calling the USCIS hotline and talk to customer service. After 6 months you still don't get any notice or mail try to ask help from your Congressman/Senator, that's others advice too.

Hi,

We are on the same boat. I am April filer too. Got transferred to CSC but until not I dont have my gc. I am checking my status everyday at USCIS website and still on initial review. But my hubby called USCIS last week and spoke to a representative and said that he will submit our applications and they will work on it. And hoping my gc will come soon because we are moving to San Diego on the 2nd week of December and I think it will take longer if we changed address.

This is what I posted in a different thread:

My AOS info was entered into the system at the end of March, I had my biometrics done early and my case was transferred to CSC some time in April. I too heard absolutely nothing after that. In September I rang up just to enquire and the lady simply read off a script (in a totally obvious manner) that CSC had no estimated processing times and I just had to wait. Come November I'd had enough and rang again. This time around the man I got told me I was outside processing times and he'd do a service request. I knew from research service requests sped processes along and guess what? The following evening I was approved - not even in the 'Decision' segment but fully done and dusted (the card itself arrived less than a week later). I waited over eight months and all it took was that phone call. My advice is to call, and if the person reads off a script re-dial and see what the next person says.

There's that smell again...
