I just read a post here about an error on the act of marriage for which the visa is denied or refused , the error it was in the family situation (single/divorced)

most of OUDOULs(The person who married people and writes the act of marriage) in morocco commit grammatical errors and more serious errors, I'm surprised I just found an error in the act of my marriage in Arabic, my husband born in America and in the act of marriage there is mistakes that my husband born in nigeria (the country of birth of his father)

What do you think? this may cause refused/denied visa in the futur

my husband has just sent the packet to USCIS, I do not know if in the translation marriage act there is also this error or not?

thank you for your advice

also the adoule give to all people the act to read it and shake if there is any mistake before they give the last verssion

i think the guy lied to the adoule cause something in his mind

but fault like this no adoule do it in morocco

also the new law now in morocco people get the approvement for marriage from tribunal with right papers before submitt ll the papers and the approvement of tribunal to the adoule

also one last thing the adoule today they r not like before they all have bachelor of droit from universities

u should read your act before sign it

thank u

no unfortunately you are wrong, because the oudoul wich married me , he made many many orthograph mistakes i corrected many sentenses , but unfortunatly i didnt pay attention about ( the place of my husband bith ) i read nigeria in the act but i thought the oudoul is talking about his father birth place , he didnt gave us time to read and correct everything , i bothered him alot because i was telling him how to write many arabic wards ,there there was no secretary,i did not like him but we had to accept the high price he wanted because he was the only one who speaks English from the (oudouls ) we asked before ,he has second job concerts organizer , I had no experience to deny this OUDOUL before causes me a small mistakes can cause serious problems in the future

as long as your husband has his US birth certificate i do not think it is going to be an issue. His citizenship as an american is the ground of this whole process of petitioning an alien...so honestly explain the error on the act of marriage to the interviewer or to be better off why don't you go ahead and try to correct the act of marriage while your are waiting for your interview...

Anyone wants to give any advice, i am still being undecided and would like to have your opinions PLZ

I just realized there is a mistake in my marriage certificate with my US husband

the mistake is:

my husband was born in américa But by mistake the people preparing the marriage certificate put my husband was born in nigeria which is the place of birth of his father

unfortunatly we sent the package to USCIS 2 days before we have the correct info on the biographic G 325 and on birth certificate and other documents , but the mistake is in the original marriage certificate.we have sent accompagned with translated certified certificate , I do not know if we have to make a new corrected one.or what?to correct the act my husband must be present to get married again? or i can just correct it bymyself with no husband new signature ?

WE do not like to have any problems in the future to get the visa, we are ready to do the right solution

thank you

Get a corrected marriage cert. it is very possible you will get an RFE, so if you get it corrected now you are ready. If no RFE, bring to interview.
