Hi everyone!

So I have a question.. I have received the Form I-797C from MSC and it states that it is in process.. Is that normal? should I be expecting anything else? Also what does Priority date mean? Mine says November 20,2012.. Should I be worried??? I am so confused! If anyone can please help that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

In short words this means the waiting game has just started so be prepare to wait for the next 4-7 months waiting for the next step that will be approval of your petition or in rare cases denial of it

You just received your NOA1 (Notice of Action.) Basically it's saying they received your petition and will work on it when it comes across someone's desk in the next 5+ months, hopefully sooner. You do nothing unless you get sent a RFE (Request for Evidence) letter or until you receive your NOA2 that tells you the petition is approved and going to the NVC.

Ok thanks!!

As explained what you have rec'd has been your NOA1 this is the time where the "waiting games" begin. This is your chance to start reading up on the guides here is the link

Post with Guides, Links, Phone Numbers, and Email Addresses for NVC Process read through this guide so that you can more or less have an idea of what to do once you rec'd your NOA2(APPROVAL OF PETITION) here you will find the steps that will be needed to be taken after you have rec'd your NOA2, and it will let you know what important documents you will need from the beneficiary (husband/fiance).

Take this time to get familiarized with the forms, Its never to early to start preparing for the next step so you can slide right through on to the next step.

Good Luck on your journey!
