I-864 for k1 and k2

Hi guys just a quick question.. So now I am helping my friend for her AOS forms.. I am just confused on part 3 question 8-10 for k1 i-485. Should the sponsor must check the box of question number 8 and 9 and list his stepdaughter? What about on I-485 for k2 does the mother must be included too on part 3 question 8-10? Any reply would be highly appreciated..

Uh, I think that you are talking about I-864 (as mentioned in your subject line), and not I-485 (as mentioned in the body of your message).

When I filled out my I-864:

Q.8 - marked with an "X", and marked with an "X" Yes. (I was the only sponsor).

Q.9 - marked with an "X", and listed my stepson (K-2), as indicated.

I followed the VJ site's K-1 and K-2 AOS tips, and found them to be quite useful:

I prepared a I-485 for each person, and one I-864 (in the manner described in the K-2 AOS tip guide). K-2s don't require a separate I-864.

I know it can be a little confusing. Follow the Guides and the Example Forms, and you should be okay.
