So I just got back from spending a week in Jordan with my love - my 4th trip in 12 months

its so hard leaving - doing the airport scene - tears - trying to enjoy and preserve in my mind every hug , every beautiful moment to make it thru the longs months ahead.Feel so lost and cant focus on my work and the reality of being back in Houston and most of all knowing it will be a very long time till we are together again... viber - whats app - im so tired of having a long distance relationship :(

How do others do it ?? and even after the petition is approved and sent to the embassy and after the interview there is this advance parole stuff??

I just want to be with him....

sorry to vent

You just do it, plain and simple, it is what it is. My husband is from Jordan and he arrived in the US 7 weeks ago. Just think of how difficult it would be if we didn't have today's technology. It will be over before you know it. Good luck

It is hard, but in the meantime I've been focused on work and getting all the papers I need (vaccinations, police records, etc. etc.) We talk every day via Google hangouts and we always seem to know what the other is doing. We're very involved in each others' lives. Granted, we are both tired of doing google hangouts and feeling like our lives are on hold but we're beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel and like another poster mentioned you just do it.

I know how you feel. I am 100% convinced that when he gets here I'm gonna be crying in that dramatic airport scene - but they will be tears of joy. It will all be worth it! But for now, I'm just trying to distract myself day to day. It doesn't get any easier. Just keep in mind that every second brings you closer to your NOA2 or w/e you're waiting for. (:

The separation is really horrible and yes our lives are on hold until the day that he gets approved and can fly over here. Some days are really really hard for both of us. But we just hang in there and keep believing that it's gonna happen one day. One day soon I hope! Best of luck to you guys.
