2 Months passed still no NOA1!!

Dear all,

I sent in my K-1 petition on 9/28th, the check was cashed on 10/2nd, and got the email notification on the same day. I heard as long as the check is cashed that means they received the package. But it's been almost 2 months and I still haven't receive the paper copy of NOA1. I check the website every day and still can't pull up my case using the EAC#. I called USCS and they said they can't pull up my case in the system either. Does it take this long for them to put the case in the system? I know I have to be patient but without knowing if my case is in line for processing make it really hard to track my case. Please help!!!

Lots of people are having these problems with the website, especially at VSC. They aren't making the effort to keep the site and databases updated. As for NOA1 it can't hurt to call the customer services number as maybe they have your address down incorrectly? National Customer services #: 1-800-375-5283.

I called the NCSC but they can't pull up my record, that really worries me. I heard that they are not keeping their website up-to-date. So I wonder:

1. Is having the hard copy of the NOA1 important?

2. Do they process the case base on the order of the EAC#?

3. Has anyone have their case approved without ever receiving a hard copy of the NOA1?

I just came across your post. I sent my K-1 petition in on October 11th, and a week later my check was cashed and I received my email notification, yet I still have not received my paper copy of the NOA1 and my case status isn't showing up online either. Did you ever hear anything back?

Ask/demand to speak to someone who can actually see your case. They will transfer you to an ISO who will be able to tell you what is going on with your case. Be prepared to be on hold for 30+ minutes.

i havent sent mine yet but im sure mine is headed to VSC...this is worrying me now hope you hear from them soon!
