HELLO VJ readers , has any one set i-130 in september and got a NO2 , i got my NO1 on 23 of september and transfered to NBC , NOW ITS SAYS ITS IN USCIS LOCAL OFFICE FROM 6 WEEKS AGO , has any one got lucky of NO2 ? WAITING FOR U .

Married : August 22,2012 in Belgium

USCIS

Califonia Service Center

Sep 24,2012 - I-130 send to Phoenix Lockbox

Sep 26,2012 - I-130 NOA1

Oct 04,2012 - I-130 case transferred from CSC to NBC Missouri

Oct 10,2012 - I-130 case transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office

Jan 23, 2013 - I-130 approved!!!

NVC

Jan 28, 2013 - NVC received case

09/17/12 I-130 sent
09/21/12 NOA1 recieved via e-mail (CSC)
09/27/12 NOA1 hardcopy recieved
09/27/12 Case transferred to another office for processing (Jurisdiction)
10/03/12 Received notice of transfer. Transferred to NBC in Missouri
10/03/12 Checked USCIS.gov/Notice of transfer to another USCIS office for processing
12/19/12 NOA2!!!!!

01/07/2013 NVC recieves the case
01/24/2013 Got the Case and IIN #
01/24/2012 E-mailed DS-3032

01/24/2013 AOS bill invoiced
02/07/2013 DS-3032 e-mail accepted
04/15/2013 AOS and IV fees payed

05/15/2013 AOS and IV packages sent

05/29/2013 CASE COMPLETE

06/04/2013 Interview date set for July 30th 2013

07/27/2013 Medical completed

07/30/2013 Interview APPROVED!!!!!

It's so random as to how quickly they get approved. I don't understand it. We had our NOA1 given on September 20th (the second NOA1, saying it had been transferred to NBC). It would definitely be nice to get it pretty soon.

I did have one mistake, in which I stated my wife's birthday was 2012.....however, I noticed it after receiving the receipt number. I sent a letter, with the request for correction, to the California Service Center, and then after receiving the transfer notice to NBC, I sent the letter again. I would think it would have caught up to the packet by now.

Here's what is weird. I received my letter back from the California Service Center with my correction highlighted, but no letter with it stating that the changes had been changed. That, and I doubt that service center would have still had the packet as quickly as I received the transfer notice to NBC.

I guess, for now, no news is good news, but is there a way to force someone to check on this, in case it is being overlooked?

Guys, my priority date is 12th september 2012 with CSC. i got transferred to NBC to my local office. yesterday i made an info pass and talked to the IO. he told me that my case is sitting in St. Paul MN office ( local) and waiting to be assigned to an officer. he told me that the case is been in local office for over a month and no body has touched it. that was all he could tell me. he said that he can not do anything with my case for the period of 120 days. he said the case was transferred because of workload in CSC.

i am not very happy with them.

well just wanted to share with you guys.

One question, should i write a letter to expedite my case to the local office supervisor??? would it be good idea?thanks
