Hey everyone-Haven't been on the board for awhile-Busy Busy Busy. I have a couple questions. I just got an email today about the I129F I filed. It said this- "This case has been approved. On November 2, 2006, an approval notice was mailed." I already got the NOA1 for the I129F in early October. So this is my question - Is this the NOA2 they are sending and from what I seen on the timetables, could it really be as little as 4-6 weeks and Marie could be getting her packet? I seen on the timetables that in some cases it was longer but I just want to be sure I was reading the timetable correctly- is 4-6 weeks possible? I need to know because Marie was going to be going to Kuwait in 2 weeks to visit her Brother and Sister for about 2 months. But if their is a possibility that her packet will be sent to her during this time she wont go.

Oh My Gosh-I just got home and I checked my email and late last night I received another email from immigration saying that the I-130 was also approved-So what does this mean-Is the I-130 automatically approved when the I-129F is approved? Or is it a totally diferent situation and if so-What should we do? Whats going to happen now if both the I130 and the I129F petitions were approved on the same day.

And by the way-did you all look at my timeline -I just added more info and updated it. From the I-129F's NOA1 until the I-129F's approval date was only 29 Days and from the time California got my I-129F to the approval date it was only 15 days-I am hysteric-Only 45 days from our I-130's NOA1 until the I-130's approval date. WOW!!!! So anyway- Marie and I just want to thank all of you for helping us -without the forum we could have never gotten as far as we have with our journey. So Thanks Again and God Bless-The Journey continues

You are so so lucky!!!! Omigosh :) It's just an incredibly luck coincidence, they are not related. I can only hope mine gets approved really soon too - mine was transferred to California on October 4.

Eventhough both have been approved, it is still possible that the interview for the K3 will be a month or more before the IR/CR1. Just keep pursuing both of them until you get an interview! Good luck!!

Sandy
