I was approved in Jacksonwille today with no problems or delays....

The officer asked for the additional copy of our marriage certificate, birth certificates and any joint documentation that we might have, as well as photos.

He asked David our wedding date, which he didn't know so he asked me instead and then he asked David for my birthday.

And that was it, he took my EAD, put the stamp of approval in my passport and we were out of there in half an hour tops.

I would just like to point out that we didin't have that much in terms of "proof" and we still got approved with absolutely no problems.

We had three photos from David's visit to Croatia, two from our wedding (since we didn't have a reception but just took some portraits to have the memory), and three photos from trips- mostly of me and my stepson.

We had a joint account statement, joint medical insurance statement and statement explaining I am the beneficiary of David's life insurance.

I had several letters of reccommendation but the officer didin't even look at those.

Nothing outside of that.

So you don't necessarily need to come burdened with "proof" in order to get approved, there are many factors in the approval.
