I think it depends on the case.If both of you are white, CSC will transfer files to NVC faster than if one of you or both of you are not white. This is my theory.

Is 2-3 weeks the time frame for white couples or non white couples? Just dont raise your expectations too high if you are following the wrong race's time frame.

Mostly i have seen that it takes from 2-3 weeks that petition comes to the fiance country at the american embassy so lets hope mine also come too so hope for the best

Its just they do the background checking and send to the NVC and again NVC also do the background check and name. The background check is done thrice at USCIS, NVC and finally at the AMERICAN EMBASSY rather the biggest still to come when the embassy put u on ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW and it can be from months to year so i hope after such prolong waiting for NOA2 the case will go much smooth

Matako, have you considered the possibility that non-white people are also employed at USCIS? That kinda throws a wrench into your theory of racism and immigration, doesnt it?

Congratulations on your approval and I know you both are so happy. Depends on the service centers and some of them are slow in getting the petitions to the NVC now. Here's wishing you a speedy trip thru the NVC and onward to Islamabad.
