Hey, people! I have been reading your discussions for a while. I need your advice. I currently live in Alaska

Me and my husband filed the AOS package concurrently on the 12th of October. 10 days after that went in the lower 48 to

visit his family for two and half weeks. During this time the USCIS had sent the three NOAs which the post office sent back to the NBS as undeliverable. As soon as I saw the update on the website me and my husband called the customers service and made a request for the receipts to be re-sent. We got two of them - for the employment authorization and the I - 130, but never got anything for the I 485! In the letter with my re-sent NOA for I 765 was written that I had been scheduled for biometrics, which I have missed, so they're putting my data back in the system to reschedule my biometrics appointment. During this time I haven't gotten new updates for my case on the website. I thought everything was going well until I decided to check my I 485 receipt and here's what i read:

Testing and Interview

Our records indicate that requested individuals did not appear as requested for an appointment or in-person processing. This will significantly affect this case. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made or further action taken.

I am really worried ! Evidently I have missed the biometrics for my I 485 but have never been notified about that! I am calling the customers service tomorrow for sure. Can you share your experience with me? I am very upset at this right moment. Thank you!

Hi Shyzzo,

I hope that everything will be fine after rescheduling. I am also in the some what similar boat. We applied for AOS with concurrent filing. My wife who is the petitioner got NOA for I-130, we haven't received text msg or NOA letter for I-485. Strangely, the checks for both the applications were cashed on the same day. I am not sure what is going on. I am also thinking of calling the customer service so that I will not miss my bio metrics appointment. One more thing is I tried to check my case status using the receipt number on the I-797C for I-130 and it says the case can not be found. Fingers crossed :(
