Hello VJ friends,

My husband's visa interview is scheduled for Jan 10th. Now he needs to get his medical exam done. It says that he needs to take the following for the medical exam after making an appointment.

Passport

Original Appointment Letter

Three Recent Photographs

Is the appointment letter from the hospital or just visa interview appointment letter from NVC?

Is there a measurement or size restrictions for the photographs?

Is it better to have the medical exam done now or wait until two weeks before the interview date to do it?

Please provide some guidance. Thanks.

- VISA INTERVIEW LETTER OR EMAIL LETTER from NVC

Is there a measurement or size restrictions for the photographs?

- PASSPORT PICTURES

Is it better to have the medical exam done now or wait until two weeks before the interview date to do it?

- NOW IS BETTER (earlier is always better)

Please provide some guidance. Thanks.

He need following:

- Interview Appointment Letter from US Consulate

- Passport

- Photographs

- medical history

and some cash - 6-10K INR

He need to call medical facilities given in Packet-4 and make an appointment first.

you can do medical exam anytime but generally its validity is 4-6 months and you may not get appointmnet for hospital so do at your earliest.
