H1B Questions about Starting Date - French Citizen

Hello,

Here are some info about myself:

- French Citizen studying in Canada

- Did 1 internship in the US last year and received an offer to come back as a Full time next year

I am being sponsored to get the H1B. However, if I understood well, I will only be able to start working starting October 2013.

Hence, I will miss the training program from July to end August.

Is there any legal way, that I am not aware of, that would let me do the training? A lot of people from all around the world are coming from this training (however, I dont know under which visa)

A B1 business visa allows you to attend training in the US, you will also be able to change your status to H1B if approved. Check out this link for more info.
