Your telling me! First I was worried that my case hadn't even been added, now im worried they've made a mistake and they've sent our NOA2!

I don't know what to think!!!

Yep that is the NOA2, and wow you are one lucky couple cuz that was more than fast. we had to wait more than 5 months. Don't be surprised if you fiance haven't got an e-mail or mail yet. We got approved on the 16th and he got the hardcope( the actual letter) on the22nd.

Your case is now being forwarded to the NVC and it normally takes them to process your case up to 15 business days. That is were you will get your case number from which you will need for your medical and the final interview.

Congratulations one step closer :-)

Managed to speak to my fiance for a bit when he grabbed some wifi :) Telling him it looks like weve been approved really brightened up his day! He's just as excited as me and is going to keep checking for the email and ask our friend to go over to his place. I miss him so much and although I'm very proud of him I still worry when hes out in Afghanistan.

Thanks for all the support and congrats guys! So Happy!!

I know :) someone must be looking out for me lol! If it definitely is the NOA2 I best start getting all the other information together! If everything else goes just as fast (fingers crossed) maybe I can arrive before he gets back from Afghan and meet him like everyone else!!! OMG that would be perfect!

Part of the process is background checks on the Petitioner maybe that was how they found out quickly he was on active duty..But the wording in your email is exactly what a NO2 email would read so I think somewhere in the process you got lucky... Congrats... And by the way I have been in this for almost a year but I dont mind at all when our military people get a boost and a quick process tell him thank you for his service for me and God Bless... and I hope the rest of your journey goes as quickly and smoothly...

Maybe the background check did show this. Whatever it was I am so grateful! I just wish that everyone could get approved just as fast as us! Were very much in love and plan on spending the rest of our lives together. I've seen so many others on here since I joined who seem just as in love and I can't believe how long the process is taking them :( I have just texted him telling him that you thank you for his service. He's come across a few people in his time who don't appreciate the fact he puts his life on the line for months at a time so it's always lovely to hear people thank you.

I hope everyone who hasn't received their NOA2 yet gets approved ASAP!!! :)
