CR1 visa refusal under 221(G)

I emailed on the 11th for passport update and it gave me, "The current status of your passport is Delivered To Post." (it means embassy has received it)

Today I emailed again and it gave me, "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted."

I know they can't be down for 2 days, so, I was wondering if any one knows what it means. I know I should wait a little longer but, you know how it is. It's the not knowing when?, drives you crazy.

For background info My husband got 221g on the 12/03/12 for PCC. Sent the new PCC with Passport and 221g on 12/06/12. Still waiting.

Yes Mitu you have to wait since I got 221(g) after the interview on Nov 26 and for additional documents, I have submitted that on 12/3/2012 and after that I am waiting, keeping my fingers crossed. Here I save sent a mail to VFS and I got this reply:

" Dear Ms. Payal,

Thank you for writing to the U.S. Visa Service Desk.

We understand your concern that you would like to know the passport status.

With regards to your concern, we would like to inform you that as per our system records your documents are delivered to the Consulate which you have submitted at the Kolkata OFC. The case is still under processing with the U.S. Consualte.

We would request you to wait till the time you wont receive an SMS alert on your registered mobile number/E-mail confirmation. Kindly note, send your passport number to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com in order to track your passport status.

Kindly follow the given link:-http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-loc-passportcollection.asp#supportingdocs in order to check the required documents for passport collection.

Collection Timings:

Monday to Friday (10:00 Am to 4:00 Pm).

Well I know that we have to wait but 2 days ago they said they had received it and now they say no status available for this passport. Which kind of worries me, that's all. You are ahead of me by 3 days, so, I hope you bring me good news.

and you send mail to - passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com, and here, my status is also showing " no status available for this passport". Go ahead and write a mail to above mentioned email id mentioning your passport number.

I do understand. Same here. BTW I have sent mail to support-india@ustraveldocs.com and they said it is still processing with the consulate. So no other way but have to wait. They said wait for the email alert/ SMS alert from them.

I know But I don't understand why they don't tell me the reason for putting me under AP. Everyone else here seems to know why they are in AP.. They've kept me in the dark which is frustrating... This is a great patience test
