LauraDP can you let me know when your case number arrives? We're a week behind you :)

Hi there. Sorry for the delayed reply. It's a busy time of year with having four kids caught up in nativity plays and parties and such-like so I have had very little time to hop online. We have not received anything further from the Embassy so we still don't have a case number or directions to follow the next set of instructions. It is now overdue so it is a bit frustrating but I am resisting calling the expensive phone line because I am sure they will just give me a fobbing off answer anyway.

Best wishes

Laura

Married a US/UK dual national in 1996 and had four children together.
Immigration Timeline: I130 Approval November 2012; Interview July 2013; Immigration October 2013. (Note, however, that we chose to stall the process for personal scheduling reasons)
As a family of six, we relocated from Argyll in Scotland to Pennsylvania in October 2013.

I applied for Citizenship in October 2017 and am currently waiting for an Interview date.

That all sounds positive. We are waiting until the new year to call, get an email code and communicate that way (assuming we have not received anything in the post by then) as we are going to be travelling over the festive period. I would prefer to be told to wait a longer time before hearing anything than to be given a false deadline but I am a control freak so waiting on other people is not one of my strong suits.

Best wishes

Laura

That's great news!

We are just getting ready to apply for an extension since my husband has not even secured an interview for a US job yet let alone a job. I am hoping we get granted more time otherwise I think we have to kiss this whole immigration plan goodbye. Ho hum.

Best wishes

Laura

Hi there, it was 3 weeks but we called the 0904 number every other day to see if they'd logged the 230 & 2001 yet (spent a small fortune!) The email address is:- LondonIV@state.gov no code just pop your case number & DOB in the email.

BEST OF LUCK! :)

Wow, only 3 weeks! Maybe those expensive daily phone calls did help! Very best wishes for the interview! I will wait and see if we get the interview letter in the next 2-3 weeks. After that, I will email and start calling daily :)
