I just received a NOA2 approval dated Nov. 2 via email ---------- but I received one via snail mail on Oct. 27th with NOA2 approval dated Oct. 20. Which date will be used at NVC? I hope the earlier Oct 20 date

May 2001 Met online

May 2005 Finally Made first visit

May 2006 Second visit

]uly 17, 2006 mailed I-129F to TSC

July 18, 2006 received delivery notification from USPS

July 21, 2006 NOA1 mailed from CSC

July 26, 2006 NOA1 received from CSC

Oct 20, 2006 NOA2

Nov 15 2006 Left NVC

Mar 1 2007 Interview Date

Mar 6 2007 Visa Granted

Mar 17 2007 JfK POE (enjoyed NY for a week)

Mar 25 2007 Arrived in the my cityb]

Holy cow, this same thing just happened to me, I swear. I just turned on my computer, checked my email and there it was 5 emails saying I had been approved, on Nov. 2nd. But I had already received my NOA2 in the mail on 10/20 with an approval of 10/18. Exactlly like what happened to you guys, I am so confused right now, hopefully they use the first approval. :(

Ditto... NOA2 hardcopy with October 13 approval date recieved. Today got six emails saying our case was approved November 2nd and to keep an eye on my mail for the notice to arrive...

CSC is a well oiled machine! :hehe:

Hey guys, you know what it could be? I don't know if you noticed but they updated the uscis.gov website yesterday. So maybe that's why this happened, maybe it was a delayed system.

I have a question for you guys, since we all had similar cases with the NOA2. Have all of you guys received the letter from the NVC saying they received your case? I'm getting worried, cause they still don't have my stuff yet and I haven't received a letter from them.

I just noticed that this week ( have an approval e-mail for Nov 2 and received snail mail with NOA2 dated Oct 31)

The e-mail that USCIS sends to us is not the Approval date e-mail......if you read carefully it says

On Nov 2 AN APPROVAL NOTICE WAS MAILED

It does mean that you are approved but it doesnt say that you have been approved on Nov 2........

The approval date is the one showed on the NOA2 that you will receive at home.

The same thing happened to me. Second notice of NOA2. I have already received my NVC notice, contacted the embassy where they said they processed the application and already have the interview date, so things are still happening in spite of CSC's computer problems.

THe only thing is that I already received my NOA2 via snail mail on Oct. 20th (the approval was dated Oct. 18th). But I never received any updates online or e-mails telling me about approval. However, on Nov. 2nd, I received a case update online and also 5 e-mails telling me "On Nov. 2 an approval notice was mialed . . ." THen I got another touch on Nov. 3rd, who knows whats going on. Maybe it was thier delayed system that took about 2 weeks to let me know about my previous approval. I'm trying not to panic, since I already panicked pre NOA2. I'm just trying to be patient. I have already contacted NVC, they don't have anything yet, they told me to wait a couple of weeks. I know it may take up to a month to find out what's happening, so I'm going to wait a couple more weeks. I'm thinking that maybe after my first approval (Oct. 18th) my file stayed at the CSC since I didn't receive any touches after that. Now with the second NOA2, it seems my case is really moving this time. Who knows? I don't understand them, I just need to be a bit more patience.

I'm not sure what's going on. My approval was on July 25. After waiting 90 days, my senator contacted NVC and was told that it may have been lost. I've fax and snail mail CSC about a week ago. I too receive 5 emails concerning the Nov 2 date. I've been checking the status on the website and its been updating every business day. So go figure? Hopefully it's true and NVC will receive my petition soon.

Ok. I guess it's real. I just receive another NOA2 in the mail today. November 2 is the notice date. So all those that receive the NOA2 email, you should be receiving yours in the mail soon.
