hi there!

would like to know if i can apply for california ID even without ssn yet? i've visited the SS office earlier and was informed it'll be mailed to my by next month. i'm planning to go to dmv tomorrow to obtain california id. is it possible even without ss number? and are there any other things i need to do aside from these?

You will need your SSN if you want to apply for an ID card. http://www.dmv.ca.gov/dl/dl_info.htm#idcard
