Hello, we finally submitted our IV application for my wife's mother in Vietnam (took us 2.5 months to get the police report :-( ). I tried to get information on how long to wait for the interview, but couldn't find anything. Do you know what the range is on how long we should expect to wait for the interview?

I haven't heard about many IR5's going through HCMC lately. My wife's uncle went through their last year for an FB4, and the interview date was about two months after they submitted the IV application. I don't know if IR5's would be handled differently (no real reason why they should be), and I don't know if the wait times have changed since then.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!
