I stayed with my husband in Nigeria for 7 months,(in 2010-2011) during that time I was still able to send his application to immigrate to the US as my husband at the US Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria.(I did this in February, 2011) My case has been in "process" for nearly two years. They won't tell me anything more than that. He has already recieved his packet 4, went to his doctor visit and our case required further processing and we've been in wait ever since. I'm at a loss of words, we have a daughter who is 3 soon to be four and I've talked to two lawyers who said since I have emailed the congressman and she has been in contact they most likely can't help me?

Who knows what kind of proccess time they are known for, for immigrant visas filed there in Nigeria?

So your packet 4 was the interview. So you are saying after the interview (when was that) he was put in AP? What did the form he was given say? Probably a 221g form?

As far as timeline for the embassy there is none since you sent the petition to embassy I am sure it just sat a while before they sent it off to USCIS. Lagos is not DCF filing. But if you are in AP no one can say how long?

What was the line of questioning what did they focus on? Do you have red flags in your case? Many questions sorrt.
