Hello All,

I am asking this question for a friend that is starting the CR-1/IR-1 process. Any suggestions on how would the Petitioner (Naturalized Citizen) go about getting a certified true copy of their marriage certificate and petitioner's birth certificate that is from Eygpt?

Well, she can take what she the papers she wants to have a certified copy of ( original and Normal photo copies) and go to the notary department in the American Embassy in Egypt and Ask them to Notarize the copies for her, it's pretty easy and they will charge 50 dollars for each document she wants to Notarize, but she should make an appointment on the online system of American citizens services on the Embassy website
