That was very helpful post, thanks a lot!

So,my IR1 case was transferred to Lee's summit,MO from Vermont Service center but that is not on the list of offices listed. So what does that imply? Any input would be appreciated. PS: would also like to know what does "receipts" mean on those charts

Scroll over receipts and it will tell you what it means. Google "find my field office uscis" if you can't figure it out from the list. I can't do either of these things from my iPod to help better sorry

The data is from Sept 12. I wonder how often it gets updated. Denver had a huge spike in I-130s in Sept when this was last updated. I'll go back to assuming a March NOA2 if I'm lucky.

Yeah. I know but it's still filling up my downtime looking at it for grins and giggles

It says Sept 12. because they just recently updated it. They update the next month in the middle from the previous month and before...which leaves a month of wondering how many of those I-130s have been approved. I looked at Atlanta field office assuming I was transferred there and it spiked from 2,725 from Aug 15 and before to now 3,600 Sept 25. and before. And only about 300 approvals. So this can be somewhat helpful but at the same times a complete annoyance but lets all be hopeful! Day 85 since last touched and day 99 since NOA1 :(

USCIS

08/13/2012: I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox from Jordan (Nahda Office)

08/21/2012: NOA1

8/21/2012 : NOA1 Hardcopy

8/28/2012 : 1-797C Action Transferred to NBC (Assuming sent to Atlanta Local office...but no telling)

O9/4/2012 : Last touched.

2/26/2013 : Infopass with Atlanta (confirmed file is there and no action yet. To be started in March)

03/18/2013 : 2nd Infopass (No review or processing of any stand-alone I-130s for 60-90 days. URGHHHHHHHHHH)

04/6/2013: NOA2 (228 days from NOA1)

NVC

05/10/13 USCIS Atlanta letter to me confirms this date as sent to NVC

05/20/13 NVC Received Case (Waiting on case number)
06/7/2013 NVC case number assinged
06/7/2013 Choice of agent complete now awaiting fees

Gave up tracking when I left overseas...but we are almost done biggrin.png!

TERMINATED SEPTEMBER 27, 2012.

Most of the NBC cases are all transferred off to field offices.

So now TONS of field offices are adjudicating the cases.

How do you know this?

Don't want to get our hopes up, but our case was transferred to Lee's Summit, MO two days after receiving initial NOA. I am in Charlotte so if your info is correct they would process there.

The NOA says if the service center is outside the processing time one can call customer service to inquire. How does one know which service center to check? I'm going to call end of this week to try to get information.

There's an OR in the statement that Darnell found that says it can go to NBC and stay there OR go to a field office.

No one is absolutely sure if they are actually staying in NBC or moving to other field offices.

All of your inquiries would be presumably through NBC unless you got another notification stating it moved.

Some people aren't getting notifications unless they get an RFE which states to send info to a different place which is where the assumption comes in that theirs was transferred and they weren't notified.

Outside of processing time is currently about 6 months unless you're in vermont and you've been waiting 7, they just tell you to keep waiting.

Not for Vermont. Yet it still says 5 months. But it clearly isn't.

Sorry, I see I made a typo, I meant 5 months and 7 for vermont.

Still, it says vermont is 5 months and it isn't.

Maybe a very uneducated and vast theory.

Currently, with VCS at 7 months, and NBC floating around 3 months (conservatively) and the other (2) centers floating in between... I suppose you could say 5 is an avg of them all lol
