Rezahoss- So you have made a service request after the processing time, and now they are telling you another 6 months. What exactly is going on here? Isnt this so unfair and unethical. Honestly, how long do you have to stay away from your loved one's? How are you feeling, I know it must be tough on you.

Yes Johna1, it's really hard! I have not experience anything like it. But this site is helpful and I know that I am not the only one going through this horrible process. I wish you and all others waiting, to be united with your loved ones soon!

Reza if they say 6 more months and you still haven't even gotten NOA2 why don't you try the K3 route? I know everyone says it's obsolete but that's for normal situations. Maybe that way it'll get your loved one in your arms quicker? Just a thought. I have no proof or heard anything anywhere that this might work, just a route that maybe you should look into!

I did do a K3 just a few days after my NOA1. Last time (back in late October) I checked VSC was processing K3 filed in November 2011!!!

But thanks you for the advise! I appreciate it!
