Anyone experiencing what I am going through? My PD date is May 15, 2012. My application is outside the processing time. I have been calling USCIS every week after October 15, and I have been told to wait another week. I have been getting the same answer over and over. Two weeks ago I called, and they said they are processing the May 14, 2012 applications. I called today, and they are telling me that they are still processing the May 14 Application. So I asked them how could this be? They said they have several thousands of applications. Anyone, please tell me what is going on? What should I do?

MY NOA1 was April 24th and I still have not heard anything. I went through the same thing (being told to wait another week) and finally was allowed a Service Request. Their response to the Service request was to wait for another 6 months. I have now contacted both my senator and representative.

What frustrate me the most is that I have filed for my cousin as well. His PD date was on May 16, 2012 and he was approved about 3 weeks ago. It is quite unfortunate and frustrating. Unfortunately, there is nothing else to do beside wait.

Someone on here said that when they called USCIS a courteous person told them that when they say they are processing May 14th, 2012, what they mean to say is they are processing applications two weeks before this date and two weeks after this date. I'm not sure it this is true or not, but it would make sense if they keep on saying that they are working on May 14th.

My God, that's horrible! They cause a lot of stress and heartache. You pay for the visa so you should be able to follow what's going on with the file

This process is self funded from our monies, which equals a limited amount of staffing. Also the President added numerous applications by presidential mandate, these actions affect us all. Try and remember this is not a personal attack against any of us who are in process.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Easy for you to say! I think we deserve more. At least, we are entitled to know where we stand and we must be given concrete time-frames (ie. how long we will wait) and be treated with respect.
