Hi Vj members i'm new to the forum but appriciate advice,we send in our kids I130 1 month ago, we received case number from MSC , but we can not check the online case, every time I type the number, appears case number not found, I'm worried, is this normal, We have no problem with my petitions, since I got my case number could already check my case online, advice are welcome please.

I have the same issue! I filed for a k1 visa. I received our NOA1 with receipt number but cant check the case online, I think that's because they haven't gotten to that case yet.

I applied and also have a MSC case number. For the moment, if you want to check the status of your petition you have to call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283. I Press keys 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2 to be connected to a representative and so I dont have to listen to all the voice prompts. That representative will ask you for your case number to enter in the system and when it comes up to them as no information can be found, they will give you 3 options - leave a message for a rep to call you back, send an email, or wait for I believe what they call is a Tier 2 representative to get information, if any, on your case/petition status. I've been told that there is a backlog of entering petitions in the system and that the AVR system is having some problems. You can also send an email to ncsc-customerconnect@uscis.dhs.gov to inquire about your case status and a representative will contact you in about 10 days by phone. Just make sure you provide your contact information, case number, and other pertinent information in the email.

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
