Sorry if this has been asked before since I dont really have the time to log in to visa journey a lot.

Maybe someone could help me. My fiance was interviewed last oct 24 2012 and the interviewer said the

application is ok and they just have to verify something. They gave her a 221g and all it says there is

to wait for a call and nothing is checked if we need to send additional proof etc.

Its been a month now and we try to call every week for updates but its still pending. Anyone with

similar experience? Our embassy is in Manila Philippines.

Thanks for the help in advance.

It's been 25 days since my interview at Mumbai consulate, and I have NO idea what's happened to my passport. They have not asked for any proof or anything else. I"ve called them several times but no one knew anything. But finally I managed to get ahold of this guy on the helpline and he said he has forwarded my case to the concerned department, and that I should just wait for their email. So I'm waiting.......

This is probably not helpful, but i hope it makes you feel better a tiny winy bit that you're not alone.

there is no time frame or time limit for administrative processing(the 221g). The only thing you can do is just wait and continue to inquire, there is no way to expedite.

Thanks :-)

It's just frustrating that they dont even update you on what's happening with the visa. They told us that the application is good and they just have to confirm something. The sad part is they held her visa and she has to do some seminars and training outside the philippines and she cant go because she doesnt have her passport. They told her if they pulled her passport out then she has to wait longer for the decision.
