great and funny answers! I work for major airline and can only say don't waste time and money on locks. Do not pack anything you cant afford to lose. Just tie zipper close or zip tie. Just slows them down to cut a lock or open a lock and other bags behind them. Bags are first screened and/or swabbed and then opened if needed. If you want your bag to make that connection make it easy. Pasteries only if in original sealed packaging. The only times I see TSA ask for the customer is when they travel with hunting rifles and dont secure them and ammo properly.
