Background checks may or may not have cleared. I have been inline since 09/17/12. Received a yellow letter a month ago asking to bring "ONE" document, that I was going to bring anyway. Haven't heard since then. So, it all depends on your local office where you are going to be interviewed. If its busy, you'll have to wait, otherwise you should hear something sooner. Atleast, a yellow letter means that your file is active and not catching dust. Its normal. Many of us get it. Good Luck!

I've been in line for interview (Atlanta) since 7/30. Got a yellow letter on 10/2 (Dated 9/27). Still waiting for IL. I did an Infopass on 10/31 (needed extension on GC in case of travel and renewal of driver's license) and the man there said I should have IL within 60 days, but likely sooner (said it might be 20 days, well more than that have passed now).

Hopefully soon... every DO is different, depends on their volume, I think.

My YL just told me to bring driver's license (or state-issued ID). I'd have had that anyway.
