WOW! That is all I have... We mailed our petition 9 days ago, NOA1 7 days ago and today we were approved, can you say NOA2! This weekend we party. This is some much faster than I ever thought that it could be. I woke her up and probably just babbled as I was telling her, oh well, today only happens once.

10-23 Mailed 129F

10-25 Received at VSC

10-26 NOA1

11-2 NOA2

No longer in the hands of the USCIS, for my wife at least, next up MIL.

Congrats!!! I truly believe that the other service centers should be sending their overflow to VSC -- I mean people from the "other" jurisdictions wait incredibly and sometimes ridiculously long periods of time where our Vermont friends get these approved ASAP. Nice system we got going!!!

But Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to move to the East Coast.

9-21-06: express I-129F to CSC

9-22-06: signed for at CSC

9-25-06: check cashed

9-26-06 NOA1

9-26-06: Touched

9-30-06: NOA1 received

12-14-06: Touched

12-14-06: NOA2 (said approved and mailed on December 13, 2006)

12-16-06: Received hard copy of NOA2 via snail mail

12-25-06: NVC receives petition approval

12-27-06: Forwarded to Embassy

01-06-07 Called Embassy and received interview date of January 19, 2007.

01-19-07 Visa approved (I flew down for interview)

01-23-07 Flew back to Las Vegas

01-27-07 Married

04-12-07 Overnighted AOS

That is pretty amazing for this day and age. I mailed ours in back in February of 2005 and it took two weeks for approval so one week with all the new stuff is truly amazing. Congratulations and Good luck :thumbs:

Congratulations on your incredibly fast approval ...

I see they still haven't fixed this system ... I totally agree, they should be transfering petitions to VSC or start having all petitions going through the same service center ... Then atleast it would be first come first serve ...

Call me a skeptic. I don't believe it! Vermont or not, I still don't believe someone can review your I-129f and approve in 7 days. Maybe if you were that persons ONLY case for a week?

If I knew how to show you the paperwork I would. I don't know why it went so fast, I am happy that it did. Maybe the other post is right and they should move more cases to Vermont, or at least have Vermont show the others how to process quicker. I agree that the system is broken. I wish everyone else a quick turnaround...

No longer in the hands of the USCIS, for my wife at least, next up MIL.

07/26/07 - received Visa from Montreal (should have received 07/24)

07/26/07 - POE Buffalo, NY (Peace Bridge) .. No EAD stamp

07/27/07 - Beautiful marriage .. now you may call me Mrs. :)

07/28/07 - Filed AOS,EAD, and AP for me and AOS and AP for my son via UPS .. received 08/01

08/16/07 - applied for ssn

09/03/07 - received ssn card

11/07/07 - AP approved and received 11/12/07 :)

11/19/07- EAD approved online and received same day (actual approval 11/07/07) :)

12/27/07 - AOS transferred to CSC

02/26/08 - 485's approved without interview

01/14/09 - Sent I-751 - removal of conditions

02/23/10 - Biometrics

03/17/10 - Removal of conditions approved .. card production ordered

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!
