Yes, I am sure landlords are just lining up to accept lease applications from people on low incomes and I am sure having a low credit score really helps as well.

Yup, walmart comes into a neighborhood. All the local retailers go out of business, tax takes plummet,

Show us the data on this fairy tale. You think we're so stupid we don't understand that WalMart property and sales taxes replace the people they out-compete?

They are also our local retailer and we love them. They bring us the low prices that make our living more affordable. They also put out fresher produce and better meats than the old retailers.

WalMart is an important part of our society. We are grateful for their service and the people we know that work for them like their jobs there.

You are correct. How do you help the people who will not help themselves.There are inner city schools that have a 50%drop out rate by the 9th grade. Many of the ones that do get the diploma reading and math skills are at the 10th grade level. What about the woman child who has a child at age 16 from a daddy who is 28 and in prison for grand theft auto. (never on rape charges)Will walmart give him a job stocking shelves or cashing people out. Should a business have to spend even 6 months teaching basic reading and math skills. Prior to bringing them up to speed on really learning .what that business is about.
