Once she is here, you will have 90 days to get married and file for AOS, the filing fees are $1070 that's the I-485 and biometrics fees. You should file the following forms simultaneously: I-485, I-765, I-864,I-131,G-325a,G-1145 to adjust status.

Good Luck

Congradulations on making it to the interview stage. My fiancee just had her interview Monday. She was very nervous going in and walked out saying how easy it was. VJ does a wonderful job of preparing you. Just follow all the wonderful advice here and it will be a cake walk.

The K1 visa required that you are married within 90 days of arrival but does NOT require that you file for AOS within any specific time frame. The general mindset is that AOS should be filed for as soon as possible after marriage but some have waited months before filing. Waiting does not result in an out of status situation as the marriage took place within 90 days of arrival in America fulfilling the K1 requirement.

Thare are many advanages of filing for AOS immediately after marriage(EAD, AP, green card etc.) but if you have to wait a short time due to finances that is acceptable as long as you can explain to USCIS why you waited.

Hey everyone. Well my gf passed her interview. They consular dissed me. asked why my pay so low. i made $20,050 had $14000 in investments and $2000 in checking. Slime bags said to my woman. Why he have so little? I'm pissed

Ontop of that my woman knew i was going insane until this is over. She went to sleep and never told me she passed until 26.5 hours after she passed.

Maybe i have selfish woman who only cares about herself. If she told me she passed when she passed I'd be jumping for joy. Instead i'm angry and having second thoughts about her. When i met her she broke her shoulder on motorbike. I spent a week in hospital by her side sleeping on shitty bench when i already paid for a hotel.

She can't even message me on her smart phone she passed her interview.

What do you all think???

You, and you only, can determine if the actions of your significant other are what you expect of a wife.

If you are having doubts, I suggest you take time to think about what I just said. For both of your sakes.

Well, 90 days to marry - the AOS does not need to be done within that time frame, although I'd recommend it strongly.

As for the rest, regarding post-interview problems... Sounds a bit of a mess. Only you can know how you feel.

There's that smell again...
