HI, i need a help please, i'm citizen of burkina faso in west africa and i live at ivory coast, so when my petition will approved by NVC, i would do police clearance from burkina faso and from ivory coast, i would like to know if i must legalize these police clearance certificates before mailing them to NVC, and where in which ministry in burkina faso i must legalize the police clearance certificate from burkina faso

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Hi

It is up to you if you want to legalize them.most of the time it is printed on the court or police letter head.in French countries it is called cassier judiciaire.the only thing you do it translate the copies into English in an accredited institution.

You can still verify with your embassy when you go for your interview packet
