Well we celebrated our first Thanksgiving in the states. She has been learning all about the traditions and history on ThAnsgiving in her English class so it mAde it fun. The menu was; Turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, sausage stuffing, gravy, corn, greenbean casarole, rolls, homemade jello, apple pie, carrot cake, red wine, champagne. She loved it and ate so much she just wanted to lay on the couch and watch football, haha. Had dinner will my family and she was so hAppy of the experience and it meant so much to her... HAppy Thansgiving to everyone..

05 DEC 2012: NOA's I-765, I-131, I-485

14 DEC 2012: Biometrics appointment finished(Walk-in..Was scheduled Jan 04 2013)

02 FEB 2013: I-131 and I-765 Approved

07 FEB 2013: USPS Picked up the combo-card

11 FEB 2013: Received Combo-card

21 FEB 2013: Transit Visa picked up in Chicago for Japan

My wife doesn't like turkey or pork, so my mom made her fried chicken drumsticks. Our son eats more than my wife eats. And he eats just about anything and everything. Thanksgiving was my wife's birthday...something extra special for me to be thankful for.

I know someone else who just recently came from the Philippines to be with her husband, along with their two childrem. She was telling also about what a wonderful impression Thanksgiving made on them. It is a fun tradition that they get to enjoy, that often I don't think they expect! :)
