good.gif Only the USC can get information from DOS, so have him call for the latest update on the visa

Not true, the petitioner AND the beneficiary can call the DOS for information!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make that three calls to the DOS. They still had no problem talking to me. B-)

You are correct Jay Jay, petitioner and beneficiary can call the DOS. Both myself AND my husband have called them and spoke to people in that past. Not sure why people give erroneous information here.

Did you consider that this may be true to you, CR1 folks, because you are already married to a USC? Don't jump into the... "this is not true" band wagon that fast.

They didn't use to give information to K1 beneficiaries. Same with USCIS.

If they changed their ways, I'll stand corrected.

i know what you feel.. same thing happened to me when i had my interview. the co told me that everything was ok and they just need to review or check on something and told me to wait for my number to be called for final instruction. i was given 212g form and the last person who gave the slip told me that they will contact me as soon as the visa is ready to be delivered IF there are no problems. hubby called them the following day and spoke with a deputy co. the lady said that the review was supposed to be done same day. day after hubby called, we received email saying that visa is ready to be printed and will be delivered. i recommend you guys call them ask your husband to call manila em. btw.. the first person hubby spoke with just read the notes obout AP. tell your husband to speak with somebody else like what my hubby did so you get better answer.. good luck
