:help: Hi new friends !!!

08/30/2012 we go married. I am Brazilian and he U.S..

For lack of information, information spaces, we were confused how to begin the process to send the forms to Chicago. We seek information on the Internet, we called the USCIS, we try to look for lawyers, and yet the information was vague and we felt increasingly confused.

11/16/2012 found this website and started reading all the topics from the beginning and clarify some doubts.

11/19/2012, was the first forms ready to send to Chicago, but we checked everything before sending, I saw that the marriage certificate on his divorce date was wrong.

I need to have a certificate of divorce to coincide with the divorce date correct in the married certificate.

11/20/2012, he went back to court to get an affidavit for a marriage certificate. We need to fill out and mail back to Sacramento and wait for the new marriage certificate with corrections.

Reading the topics here, I saw that we have 90 days to send the forms to Chicago.

I do not know where my certificate of marriage come before 90 days.

My question: How long do I really have to send my earliest forms to Chicago? I think my marriage certificate so will be ready after 11/30/2012 will pass 90 days.

My English is limited. I hope you understand. :(

Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving Day!!

If your English is limited, then why isn't the English speaking US citizen handling this for you?

Let's clarify what process you are going through. How did you enter the US? What is your status in the US?

You are currently overstaying in the USA, so it is important you send the AOS papers asap to become legal, be able to work and travel etc. PLus technically, though very unlikely, you can be detained and deported in your current state. Follow this guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

Since you are already a visa overstay, there is no deadline as to when you can apply to adjust your status. It doesn't matter if you file before or after 11/30/2012.

The 90 days rule does not matter in your case because you did not enter on a k-1 visa.

File when you can.
