The fees is $135 total. I'm not sure they charged taxes. iF you first time applicants you have to go acceptance facility to filled for it but if you are renewal you can do it online I believe. Either way, , you can request to expidite your passport with additional fees. I lived in Houston so I go to my regional office they give me passport same day. Please printing passport photo too.

I personally never went into a service center, so we just paid the 140 bucks, 25 bucks goes to the agent, expedient service, kind of like a bribe adds another 60 bucks, overnight delivery adds another $12.75. Does add up, but helps to divide that by ten years to amortized the cost.

Still cheaper than having to maintain the foreign passport, have to show up in person for that, two days pay, motel expenses, and transportation have to be added.
