No, the interview is for you, not him. There is no need for the USC to be at the interview.

Ok, so even if my hubby is in the states right i can just go to the embassy and bring all the necessary papers during the interview right? thanks for your answer..

Did you file DCF? If so it may be beneficial to have the hubby back in the US instead of with you. He'll have to prove US domicile and your spouse being physically in the US is a good start. Have him send you a copy of his flight itinerary to show to the CO that he has indeed left the country.
