Interview in Sydney

Hi there, would anyone be able to advise how long I might expect our interview to take at the Sydney Consulate. From what I can gather, for most people it takes maybe an hour and a half or so from start to finish. My 3 children will be attending, so I am assuming we may take a little longer?

My interview is on the 18th of December. I'm booking my coach up to Sydney from Canberra. It will arrive at 9.30am at Central Station and then it's a quick train ride into the city.... our interview is at 11am, just wondering what time I should book the return back to Canberra that afternoon, maybe for about 3pm.

well just this past Tuesday, my appointment was for 8am, I got there at about 7.50am, and I was back downstairs and out the door by 9am. the actual interview took less than 10mins, some of it was waiting for those in front of me to have their turn, and some was dealing with the pre-interview paperwork. you should be fine with a 3pm bus back no problems at all.

Took me two hours from start to finish. It was just me though. Try to get to the building at least half an hour before your actual interview time. It will take some time to get through security. Once you get in it's just first come first served - you take a number, it's not like an actual appointment time.
