Hi guys.. just wanted to make an inquiry regarding the above topic... My fiancee is self employed and he sent me the 1040, I134 and 1120S.. Is 1120S the same with w2? Need to shed some light here.. help guys.

Form 1120s is tax return for an S corp it’s not the same a W2 self employed do not have W2 They can however have 1099’s

Thank u for responding.. so the 1120S is that enough evidence for the affidavit of support?

yes we are on K1 visa.. what other documents should be filed aside from the 1040?

You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. While there are no specific income requirements listed in the I-134 form directions, you will be judged by the

same criteria as the I-864 form requirements when they are issueing the visa at the foreign US consulate, so

provide financial information for the I-134 with those guidelines in mind.
