Hi All,

Thank you so much for the advices so far. Finally, I have an interview slated for mid-December, I got the letter in the mail 2days ago. Below are the documents I have to show or prove that our marriage is legit.

1. Joint Lease.

2. Joint Bank Statement

3. Joint Credit card account.

4. Phone bill and cable in our name.

5. Rental Insurance. Do I need to add life insurance?

6. Pictures - @ present, we have up to 20 pictures of us including 3 from our marriage and the rest are with friends and family members. (I lost my camera containing our pictures recently, so I have a police report for that).

7. My wife's tax returns (self employed at the time of application).

8. My co-sponsor's tax return

Aside those documents, I also have the following as required by USCIS,

1. My passport

2. Previous Form I-20's

3. State I.D

4. SSN card for both of us.

5. Marriage and birth Certificates.

6. Original and Photocopy of all original forms and documents submitted to USCIS.

7. EAD/AP Combo card.

8. All Notice of Action receipts received from USCIS.

Other docs I think may be necessary are;

1. My new job employment letter.

2. Pay stubs

3. My tax return from previous year when I filed as a F-1 student working on campus.

Those are what I have for now, and I will appreciate it if you can all notify me of what I have been missing. My timeline will tell more about when I filed and how I came into the US and met my wife.

I posted few days ago about my wife who's now living 4hrs away from me because of her new job which she got in October. At the time of application (late august), we both lived together and have both names on the lease. She now lives temporarily with her sister at her new job pending when I finish school when she can move down here and look for another job. At present, I don't get home until late at night as I have to work 9hrs a day and go to school to work on my research after. So, we both agreed she go for the job since I am not always home. We get to see each other every weekend now. Should I tell the interviewer about this if asked if we live together? Or if asked about where she works now? Should I simply say we live together since her name is on my lease or just explain all that happens between October when she moved 'cos of job and our interview?

I will appreciate any advise and suggestion. Thanks.
