Remember when we used to hear that a Soviet leader or Saddam would receive like 98% of a vote and we used to giggle how fraudulent it was on the face of it?

We are there now and for many it is fine by them.

I guess what they don't yet realize is, Obama is not a dictator and we are not helpless peasants .... that this only sparks loss of faith in a system and that is dangerous.

Someone I know called me on election day and was told his name was already voted under, after much conversation, he ended up on the phone with someone from the election board and they made a provision for him to vote.

I kinda chalked it up as a system glitch, these things happen.

I think if there was a shred of proof of voter fraud, there should be a full scale investigation. I myself believe in fair play, no matter who is on either side. But here is a simple logical answer to this, maybe Mitt Romney didn't get the votes because in those districts, they didn't vote for him.

The vote is not close enough to be an issue, and even if it was (Nixon and JFK), only one modern, likely ever, Presidential candidate challenged the election night results (Algore).

I remember, there was an issue in Florida, the city where Jeb Bush presided over right? I think even if you took all of the black votes in those areas and made them towards Romney, the hispanic and asian vote would have still crushed him, not to mention how many white people also voted for Obama.

Speaking of comparing "other elections.

I find it ironic that David Duke got a higher percentage of Black vote when he ran for the Statehouse (and won) than either McCain or Romney got.
