We would like to request the soonest available date. XXXXXX completed his medical on 11/11/05 in Birmingham.

He returned Packet 3 to the London Consular on December 12th, 2005. Your assistance in assigning his interview date is greatly appreciated. We would like to be able to pre-plan flights to reduce travel expenses for both XXXXXX's journey to Montana and also for family members planning to attend our wedding on May 6th, 2006, however we realize we cannot do this until he completes his K1 interview.

I wouldnt say so. There's no rule or law to say when you cant mail them.

I just cant stand the waiting anylonger! I'm getting crabby and irritable... I want my luv here and i keep seeing others getting interviews and I am happy for them but damn where's ours?

I also realize I am only stressing myself out more by worrying but I cant stop Why is it taking so long and why did they tell me there is a delay....

There's a delay cos they're bloody lazy lol.

I sent them info the other day except for the info on postage date....they said they couldnt help me as they needed a spostage date!

I know where you're coming from entirely and Im also up against the clock as I need to get to the US to my fiancee for personal reasons aside from the norm, too. Its a pain in the ####### but Im sure there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Techgirl- Keep the faith and know that lots of people on here are rooting for you and hoping each day that you get your interview. If it makes you feel better- I say email them whenever you want making sure to let them know you are planning your wedding. I thought your email sounded good and if it was me I'd send it daily til I got a date. Good luck to you!!

Thanks for all the support guys I think my last email may have shown a bit of desperation as the newest email I received from them says my fiance can expect to receive confirmation in aproximately 2 weeks.

I used to like rollercoasters when I was a child...

My only worry with this is what happens if it is past the 4 month validity stated in the NOA2? Is it ignored because its the embassy's problem?

was my same concern as well... but I do recall seeing a post stating that the embassy will adjust that date.. please someone correct me if I am wrong...

alison I cant wait till we hit our 24 hr countdown - I imagine it will be 24 hours of no sleep for my luv and myself, if not longer LOL How you holding up?
