Well we finally got an email from the embassy saying our case has been completed since monday. They said they sent us a letter but we haven't received anything. We packed up and left to the capital, which is where the embassy is, as soon as we received the email. We dropped off the passport the next day at 7 am. They said we should receive the visa in a week or two. I'm so happy this is all over. I will be thinking of all of you still stuck in this limbo. I'll pray for this to be over for all of you soon. Good luck to you all and thank you for all the help and support!

Trouble in Paradise again... well we went to deposit my husbands passport and they told us we should get it in about to 2 weeks. It has been almost a week and the delivery service is saying that the consulate has not given them the visa packet for them to deliver it. We decide to call the consulate and they said they haven't recieved any payment for the delivery service from us. I kindly explained to them that we paid it the day of our interview and that the day we dropped off the passport we even gave them an extra copy of the reciept to them just in case. She took down our confirmation number and phone number and said she would call us if anything else is needed. Well I got tired of waiting and called DOS to see if there have been any updates and they said we are in administrative process. #######?! I am furious. Is this even possible. The consualte told us in an email that our process was complete, why are we back on it even after depositing the passport. I don't know what else to do!

my senator told me the reply from ukraine embassy was a technical problem with washington and this makes dos system not update status
