They did not mention how long it will take but I won't be making a complaint to DHL until we get it back and everything is fine. After that, they will be hearing from me.

I would do the same thing. Wait until after the package is back in my hot little hands fully intact before I made a formal complaint to the company.

The silver lining to all of this is that you guys were not hoping for an immediate POE.

Someone above suggested monitoring hubby's credit which was a fabulous idea. I was thinking that maybe you guys should look at putting some sort of note or hold on hubby's credit files with the agencies in Canada - because of the sensitive nature of the documents in the file.

We did not end up having to go to Montreal. This morning I received an email from the embassy saying that we need to bring it back to the DHL/Loomis office, send it back they will reseal it and Loomis

I would call and speak with someone at your POE explaining the situation. You may get lucky.
