It doesn't boggle anything. Not unless someone actually thinks - or, as the WND freaks apparently do, wishes - it's an actual possibility. It isn't and thus it's just another sign of the RWNJs inability to deal with reality.

My point is that it is technically possible.

Still boggleworthy

No, it's not. That would be the ultimate power grab that I don't think any government in this land could survive.

The ramifications are irrelevant to the fact that it can, using means which are legal and constitutional, be done.

It won't, as I said early ... but there is a way it could.

Not really. Just because it's constitutionally allowed does not mean that it actually can happen. It can't. Because of the ramifications. They're not irrelevant because they are what is keeping this from happening.

What ramifications? The RWNJ's have all the guns, and the majority of the military, especially the National Guard. If there ever was going to be a bloodless coup, this would be the way to do it, and these are the folks that can do it. Lucky for the left, they are the same folks least likely to do it.

That's crazy talk. You should apply at the WND. They need writers like you.

You have to ride the snake at least once in your lifetime, to truly appreciate how crazy it can really get. Before the internet, we had to come up with all these ideas on our own, or at least have read books by people farther out there that we were.

Really? You really need to read the dictionary definition of "can."

WND has posted a correction to their story. No one has seen it I guess.

Since this column was posted it has been discovered that the premise presented about the Electoral College and the Constitution is in error. According to the 12th Amendment, a two-thirds quorum is required in the House of Representatives, not the Electoral College.

I was having way too much turkey to read anything so mind-numbing as WND. :)
