We just got our NOA1 e-mail last week for our I-130. It seems that some of the I-130s are only taking 2-3 months to complete at NBC and the field offices.

I've read the thread about NVC filers and steps/proof to re-establish domicile. I think I've got a lot as I never closed my American bank accounts or credit cards (which you can't even use in Denmark without a pin), kept my American driver's license (which would have had to be turned in and held at the police station for a Danish one), etc. However, I'm in a bit of a sticky pickle in terms of housing/cars/school registration.

"My" truck is technically owned by my mother who has kept it - so there is nothing I can do in that regard. Our housing is actually going to be my dad's former house, but it is still in probate, which means I don't own it yet but I am the sole beneficiary of the estate. We also have another car that belongs to the estate. I doubt the probate will clear before the I-864 comes up, so we are using a co-sponsor.

How do I list/prove my housing? I know they want proof of where you are going to live.

We aren't going to ship anything over so I'd feel kind of weird including shipping estimates...

Also, is it ok to have something months ahead of time from the school district about enrollment requirements?

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Thanks! I had actually read the thread already and still had these questions.

The having the house still be in probate is not exactly something covered in there...
