You seem to be dancing around the central issue without coming right out and saying it.

Are you and your wife now living separately, her in a small town and you in a big city? Did you notify USCIS that your address had changed? You're required by law to notify USCIS within 10 days of a change of address.

Yes, this can be an issue when you file to remove conditions. I presume that's the central question you're trying to ask. While it's possible to have a bonafide marital relationship while living separately, it's very difficult to collect the sort of evidence they want to see to prove that the relationship is bonafide when you're not living together. What sort of evidence do you have? Joint bank accounts? Joint apartment lease (for both apartments)? Joint credit cards? Joint bills? Insurance policies (medical, life, auto, etc.)? Joint vehicle ownership?

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

You MUST notify USCIS of any address change, do it today!

As Jim said, it could cause trouble for your ROC, but not necessarily- make sure you have a lot of other evidence. In a case like this, affadavits from your two landlords stating you are together at weekends and such would be good.
