Hi I just got NVC case number.

I'm in Israel and I know I need to get a police certificate at some point.

I also know that the Israeli Police certificate will be sent directly to the embbasy

My question - is now a good time to get the police certificate or should I wait until I get a packet from NVC? Will the embassy know about my case?

Thanks in advance. Appreciate your help

In my case, i got the ppc too late. it wasted a week. I recommended to apply ppc when you get NOA1. Because I took three weeks to have it, in the meanwhile process going real fast at NVC, I needed to send my IV packet out when I was waiting a week more for my PCC. Good luck God bless you.

Thanks but did your police certificate sent directly to the embassy (This is the case with Israel but not with other countries)?

I wonder if the embassy will know about my case...

first it depends onhow long it takes the PCC to be processed in your country. Your control speed at the NVC stage. you dnt wait for NVC to send you anypacket. all their forms are downloadeable. you start by mailing them the D3032 agent form and once they accept that, you are good to with paying the IV bill and AOS fee and then you print out the DS 230 and AOS forms (instead of waiting for them to mail to you), fill and mail to them. so i would say once you have your case number and IIN and your DS 3032 has been accepted by NVC you can apply for the PCC. tdependingon how long ittakes to be processed in Israel, target it so that itgets to the emabbsy about the same time you are mailing out your DS 230 to NVC.

PS: what category of visa are you applying for cos NVC needs to receive the PCC with your other civil documents if you are IR-1/CR-1

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!

First thanks. I apply for IR-1/CR-1 but I was told I will not get the PPC and that it will be sent to the embassy. As I mentioned to the previous person this is the case in Israel and it is different than other countries.

I'm curious to hear if someone have experience with an Israeli processing?
