Guys any of you have done this ? Probably You did !! Could You please give me a tip on how to print out chats from FB ?

I have tried but it doesnt really work ...I need our conversations of 3 years ago ! ...And also how to check out for your answers !

I m totally new on this site but Man How helpful it is ! ..You are free to send me a message to my inbox

top right corner, next to "Home" is a pull down arrow. click it and open "Account Settings".

on this page, look at the bottom middle, and click "Download a copy of your Facebook data."

this will include EVERYTHING about you on facebook...it'll include your chat logs.

this will include EVERYTHING about you on facebook...it'll include your chat logs.

Wow I didnt even realize that! I was doint print screen for hours!

You can print screen them. Easier. :)

i have been doing print screen for days its really hard doing that with over 500,000 conversations will try what you said PAUL and good luck QUEEN

There is another way...go to your messages with your fiance, then click on Actions-->Forward Messages, choose the messages you want to forward to your email address and then you can print them. It takes a little bit of work if you have a lot conversations.

I just tried that but it doesn't give you the messages all together for one person..it gives you the messages for every day...which gives you a headache if you are talking to a lot of persons on facebook. Printscreen seems to be the easier way in this situation:)

I have done this for approx 45,000 messages, you have several options -

1.

Download your entire FB account data, the trouble is you get every message in chronological order to every person, not to an individual, unless you delete all other messages before you do the download. Even then the formatting is dreadful for printing and needs an awful lot of editing.

2.

Forward messages to email, downside is "every" single message has to be selected to forward, there is no "forward all" option

3.

Copy and paste into, for example, word to print. Only downside, if you can call it that, is you only get a date but not a timestamp. Simplest and quickest option in my opinion.

4.

Screenshots, take forever and can only see a small number at any one time.

I personally copied and pasted all the messages from my fiance into word then printed, also took 1 or 2 screenshots per month to show date and timestamps.

The best option for you will depend on exactly how many messages you are looking to print.
